Honey Garlic Glazed Chicken
Whoa mama! This recipe is 100% legit and easy enough for a weeknight meal I give this one an A+.
Honey-Garlic Glazed Chicken
Sick and tired of eating chicken? This recipe will change that for you; it's a clean-recipe but also indulgent. Basically, it's lick-the-pan delicious (only lick the pan, after it's cooled of course! Ha!).
Ingredients
- 3 T honey
- 1 T coconut sugar
- 1 tsp molasses
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated onion
- 4 chicken breasts, sliced in 1/2
Instructions
-
Preheat your oven to 420 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil and spray with cooking spray for easy clean up.
-
I don't like the chicken tenders at the store. Instead, I used full chicken breasts and sliced them in half.
-
Season both sides of chicken with salt & papper. Put the chicken on the baking sheet and bake for 30 – 35 minutes.
-
While the chicken is cooking, bring the sauce ingredients to a boil for @1 minutes in a small sauce pan to thicken the sauce. Remove from heat. As it cools, it will continue to thicken so don't over cook it.
-
Reset oven to broil.
-
Remove chicken carefully from the oven. Dip each chicken piece into the sauce & place back on the pan. Broil for 5 minutes.
-
Turn the thicken over and baste with remaining sauce then broil for 5 more minutes. Your sauce will have become a "crust" on the chicken…it is fab.
-
I served this with roasted carrots & zucchini slices.
