Nashville: Printers Alley, Downtown

Nashville: Printers Alley…oh man, this area used to be the seediest part of Nashville (at least downtown) but now, it is a blast to go to. It has everything: fabulous eats, rooftop bars, secret bars, top notch live music and all within a couple blocks radius.

It is one of our favorite places for a night or day on the town; we’ve done both!

While in Nashville, you must experience Dream Hotel: Dream Hotel & Stateside Kitchen . This is the newest hotel in the Printers Alley area. They have a really great Golden Hour at Stateside Kitchen. They also have 2 nightlife hot spots.

Secret bar, rooftop bar, coffee & restaurants: Noelle Hotel. We have visited this hotel so many times since it has been opened and we will finally get to stay there next week – YES! Incredible design and fantastic eats and bevs; it is a must-stop for sure.

Skyline view from Noelle Rooftop Bar: Rarebird
Best late-night snack: CARAMELIZED ONION DIP
crème fraiche, thyme, potato chips

Rooftop bar: Hotel Bobby. This place has turned into one of our favorite roof top bars; who doesn’t love sitting in an antique bus on the rooftop or having an-upclose skyline view to the Batman Building? Cocktails are always delicious and this summer, you can order them from an airstream trailer.

Music & food: Rainbow Room. This place is legendary; read the history and you’ll learn why. Their food is very traditional but delicious and the live jazz was fantastic. I recommend going earlier rather than later, as the line can be wrapped around the block to get in. They also have a burlesque show in the evenings!

Best appetizer, amazing menu, cocktails & personable staff: Black Rabbit

Apps, drinks, dinner: Deacon’s New South. You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu.

Historical visit: Men’s Restroom @ the grand Hermitage Hotel. Their lobby is so traditionally gorgeous, it is a must-see.

Funkiest visit: 21C hotel…their artwork is trippy. Make sure to get a picture with our Nashville penguin. Plus, their alley (across from Black Rabbit) is fantastic for a photo-shoot.
